Application Eligibility and Details

The School of Public Health at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi - Ghana, is offering Continuous Professional Development (CPD)-eligible short courses as part of the initiative to develop specialised skills in Health Systems and Services Management – in collaboration with the Centre for Capacity Building and Innovation (CCBI) under the Office of the Vice-Chancellor, KNUST and the University of Toronto (UoT), Canada. The short courses are in partnership with the KNUST Mastercard Foundation Africa Higher Education Health Collaborative and the DAAD-funded Accelerating Capacity-building in Health Systems Research and Management in Africa project, and in collaboration with the Department of Health Care Management at the Technische Universität Berlin (TUB), Germany, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health (NIPH), Norway, and the HTA Secretariat at the Ministry of Health, Ghana. Eligible Health Professionals are to apply for the following Short Courses at the School of Public Health (SPH), KNUST:

Requirements for award of scholarship

Applicants must meet the following requirements to qualify for the scholarship:

Funding

Scholarships shall be offered to 20 shortlisted applicants for each short course on a competitive basis. The Scholarship for both local and international participants shall cover tuition, workshop materials, feeding, accommodation and travel costs (International participants only). All other participants will be required to pay highly subsized course fee to cover accommodation and feeding.
