The delegation toured places like the KNUST Incubation Centre, the KNUST Hospital, and the various colleges and Centres.

According to Prof. Wisdom Tettey, the visit seeks to reinforce the relationship between the two institutions for sustainable development.

He emphasized the role of entrepreneurship in ensuring a flourishing youth population.

“Our hope is to strengthen our relationship through this visit, explore new areas as we deepen existing areas. All of which are meant to advance our communities.

“A big part of that is about entrepreneurship. We’ve got a large youth population, we’ve got a huge health problem. How can we bring these together to ensure that our young people are using their talent to generate the kinds of intervention that supports a strong healthy population?” he said.

He was happy with the University’s all-inclusive environment, which the Mastercard Foundation has been instrumental in its realisation.

“We want to project our university as an inclusive education. It doesn’t matter how differently abled you are, we want you to be able to find a home here, where we support you to succeed. We’re able to do a lot of that with the assistance of the Mastercard Foundation,” she noted.
